ADHD

Have you ever heard about this diseases before.....let me share with you..

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a biological, brain based condition that is characterized by poor attention and distractibility and/or hyperactive and impulsive behaviors. It is one of the most common mental disorders that develop in children. If left untreated, ADHD can lead to poor school/work performance, poor social relationships and a general feeling of low self esteem.
ADHD is often first detected when a child enters school. Attention and behavior issues become more obvious in this structured setting. The student may have trouble sitting still or waiting his turn. His impulsive behaviors may lead him to “act before thinking”. His short attention span and distractibility become more noticeable.
It was once believed that ADHD was exclusively a childhood disorder that was outgrown during adolescence. It is now known that these symptoms can continue into adolescence and adulthood.
Symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsiveness may decrease somewhat during adolescence and be replaced with feelings of restlessness. Attention problems often persist and may manifest itself in different ways. Time management and organization are often difficult. Planning ahead, finishing work, staying on track, organizing activities, following conversations, maintaining relationships - all may required intense effort.

Autisme

Imagine that:
You have just been told by your doctor that your child has or may have autism.
How did it feel?

Do it feels like your whole world has come to an end AND all the dreams and hopes you have for your child seem shattered.

This is exactly how many parent feel (including me) and it is a natural reaction to such devastating news.

Just to share what is autism all about....

WHAT IS AUTISM?

Social Deficits: May show no interest in Peek-a-boo or other interactive games.

Communication Issues: May not communicate typically by verbalizing or pointing; instead they may "hand-lead" to the desired object. May have decrease eye-contact.

Bizarre / Repetitive Behavior:
Such as staring at ceiling fans for hours, spinning, rocking, flapping and flicking fingers.
Sensory: May have difficulty with clothing, noise, music, lights, smells, bathing and any new situation.

Self Injury Behaviors: May have bitting, head-bagging, ripping at skin and hair.

Some children may have Gastro-Intestinal Problems such as diarrhea, constipation, bloody stool, undigested food in stool, frequent vomiting and food sensitivities.

Motor Issues: May be unable to pick up small object, appear clumsy, have balance and coordination difficulties.



AUTISM is a "catch-all" word that is applied to a group of symptoms, some of which shown above. These occur in varying degrees depending on the individual child.

At one time autism was considered rare and hopeless but it is no longer true. Many children with autism, especially with early intervention, make considerable improvements and may even mainstream into regular classrooms.

Mother's Day Celebration

Agak terlewat aku post kan entri ini tapi just want to show what my daughter Alya did masa Hari Ibu ari tu...terharu sungguh

Dan kami pon ade buat sikit surprise party celebration untuk nenek (mak aku) dan moyang (nenek aku) die. Sume tu tak di rancang last minit my aunt sms bgtau nak balik Alor Gajah (kg eden la) nak buat surprise party tuk nenek ngan ibu2 merangkap aku dan makcik2 aku yg len la...dan hasilnye ..taraaaa

Inilah keluarga besar kami..mak cik2 ngan nenek...tp tak sume ada ni..kalo tak mesti tak muat space..hehehe

AMama..cuti nnt kakak nk duk ngan nenek...gitu la alya memulekan bicaranya mgu lepas...betul ke kakak nk duk ngan nenek..a'a jawapnye..kakak x nangis ke nnt...x la kakak kan dh besa...lepas tu aku lak jadi serba salah nk anta ke x ...lgpon mmg tu ari nenek die dh ajak dh..x bg kang mak aku kate pe lak..bg kang aku lak sunyi..pk punye pk..ok la anta lg pon seminggu jek..lg seminggu cuti kt sini(planning), x tau la kalo tetibe dieorang naik syok kt sana extent smpi 2 mgu..huaaa lame nye...lps anta dieorg tu,x smpi sari dieorg kt kg aku dh terasa teramatlah sunyinya..ye la walaupon anak aku x ramai 3 org tp tu pon dh cukup meriuhkan umah kitaorg di tambah lak ngan double bass aku yg dok terpekik sana sini meredakan dieorg time gado..patu pg2 lak hura hara(pinjam word ita..ahaks) menyiapkan dieorg nk ke nursery..pg smlm cam x syok lak..dok bersantai2 lg sebelum msk opis....ish ish x terkate rindunye..mujur si kecik aku aisyah x nk tgl..kalo x mcm pengantin baru la aku..ahaks...

Dengan lafaz Bismillah blog ni dgn rasmi nye di buke...cewah....x tau ler nk merapu ape kt sini tp yg pasti aku nak try menguji kebolehan aku memblogging......huhuhu...tak de kisah yang menarik melainkan cerita pasal diriku dan keluargaku terutama anak-anakku yang terkenal dengan keletah dan kenakalan mereka..ape pon Mama tetap sayang kalian...sangat-sangat..k stop dulu kt sini nnt smbg lg, tgh keja ni cuik tulang lak...
